Business Solutions
Founded in February 2005, Business Solutions is a student-driven initiative that seeks to promote the Business Case culture at the Nanyang Business School and trains students in analyzing and providing solutions to real-world business problems. Business Solutions is enthusiastically supported by the faculty at the Nanyang Business School, and by the Asian Business Case Centre, NBS's very own research centre which has the largest repository of Asian Cases in the world.
Business Solutions has formed and sent teams of students yearly to compete amongst the world's best in international competitions in USA, Canada, Thailand and India. Thus far, many of our teams have performed spectacularly.
Our teams have emerged as champions in the following international competitions:
- The McGill Management International Case Competition organized by Desautels Faculty of Management in March 2011
- The Undergraduate National Case Competition organized by the Concordia University of John Molson School of Business in Canada January 2008
- The International Business Strategy Challenge organized by Shailesh J Metha School of Management in Bombay in October 2007
This is the fifth year that Business Solutions is organizing the Asian Business Case Competition @ Nanyang. Business Solutions also launched the Ernst & Young Singapore Business Case Competition for the first time this year. Business Solutions is proud to undertake the responsibility of enriching the campus lives of the student population that is in line with our ideas and vision.
